The Cold-Formed Steel Engineers Institute (CFSEI) 2026 Annual Expo will be held on May 18-20, 2026 at the Westin Long Beach Hotel in Long Beach, California. The CFSEI Expo is a specialized event aimed at engineers, architects, builders, and contractors, with a focus on both experienced professionals and newcomers in the cold-formed steel framing industry. The Expo will offer a range of opportunities for education, networking, and showcasing cutting-edge cold-formed steel technologies. Attendees can expect sessions designed to enhance knowledge and skills, as well as an exhibition featuring the latest innovations in cold-formed steel framing. The three-day conference serves as a key platform for industry professionals to exchange ideas, explore new technologies, and stay updated on advancements in the field. Technical Sessions

2026 CFSEI Expo will feature educational opportunities in the latest advancements in cold-formed steel framing (CFS). The Expo Educational program is suited to both skilled CFS professionals and newcomers. CFSEI Expo sessions will be delivered by industry-recognized experts in CFS. In three days, expo participants will have the ability to earn more than ten continuing education credits.

Stipend Program for Young Engineers and Professors/Instructors

CFSEI is awarding up to five $1200 stipends to young engineers and professors or instructors to attend the 2026 CFSEI Expo. The stipend can be used for any travel and lodging expenses related to the Expo. Recipients will receive free registration.

Eligibility: The stipend program is open to engineers under 35 years old and all instructors at universities with civil and structural engineering programs.

Applications are due by February 28, 2026. Recipients will be notified by March 15, 2026.

The CFSEI Expo is being held at The Westin Long Beach, 333 East Ocean Boulevard, Long Beach, CA 90802. A limited number of rooms have been reserved from Sunday, May 17 to Thursday, May 21. 

Guest Room Rate Schedule

• Room Rate $239/night + tax.

The room rate is guaranteed until Monday, April 27, 2026. Guests can make reservations using the CFSEI 2025 Expo reservations-dedicated page on an individual basis.
